It is great to be the new principal of Stranahan Elementary! As a former Stranahan student, and as the proud father of two Stranahan Bulldogs (Jack-Kindergarten & Charley-3rd grade), I understand the importance of working together with families, students, and staff to provide an atmosphere of academic excellence. For the last 7 years, I served as an elementary principal in a neighboring district. Prior to becoming a principal, I enjoyed teaching kindergarten, 4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade. As an educator and Stranahan parent, you have my word that I will always put our Bulldogs first by placing a high value on educating the whole child through superior teaching.
I have three B-I-G goals this year…
1. Build positive communication and relationships among students, families, and staff
2. Improve student academic performance through data-based decision making
3. Gain more school spirit through new and exciting activities and programs
